The SEP209 Thermal Cutout is a fixed over-temperature safety device rated at 120 °C, operating in a normally closed (NC) configuration. It is typically installed in ovens to cut power if internal temperatures exceed safe limits. It replaces Electrolux / Westinghouse part numbers 0541001269 and 4055549929, and is also commonly used in Simpson, Chef, and Westinghouse ovens for thermal safety.

  • Normally Closed at ambient (opens when temperature is reached) 

  • Rated for 16 A, 250 VAC (typical NC cutout specifications) 

  • Ceramic construction and two 6.4 mm spade terminals
