The RC4 is a high-precision capillary thermostat with a range of 50 °C to 200 °C, commonly used in commercial deep fryers and similar cooking appliances. It operates on a single-pole contact, with “break on temperature rise” action and no auxiliary switching. This means it cuts power when the temperature exceeds the set point.

  • Temperature range: 50 °C to 200 °C 

  • Single contact (break on rise), no auxiliary switching 

  • Built-in gland seal (M9 stuffing gland) for protection from ingress 

  • Current rating: 16 A @ 230 V AC
